Located in Pittsburgh's East End, East End Lofts offers three distinct studio spaces within a large, urban-style historic building. With 14-foot ceilings and oversized brand new industrial windows, each studio is flooded with natural light and professionally designed to provide a luxurious experience for both photographers and clients.
Whether your next session is a family, newborn, senior, branding, boudoir, maternity, or engagement shoot, East End Loft is the perfect backdrop for your creativity. Our mission is to provide a space that inspires innovation and elevates your photographic experience.
ALLURE LOFT

Allure Loft is a 660-square-foot studio filled with natural light from a large west-facing industrial window. The original 1914 concrete floors and 14-foot ceilings add history, character, and an open, airy feel. With high-end furniture, hand-painted backdrops, and a movable wall, the space is designed for creativity and flexibility. It’s the perfect backdrop to bring your vision to life.

LUXE LOFT
Luxe Loft is a 500-square-foot studio flooded with natural light, thanks to two oversized industrial windows facing north and east for consistent, beautiful illumination. The space features engineered hardwood floors, timeless wainscoting, and striking black shiplap, balancing elegance with modern edge. With its versatile design and high-end furnishings, Luxe Loft is the perfect setting to inspire creativity and leave a lasting impression.
URBAN LOFT
Authentic Light. Cozy Style.
Designed with lifestyle in mind, Urban Loft offers a welcoming, home-like atmosphere. Spanning nearly 400 square feet, the studio is bathed in natural light, enhancing its warm and cozy ambiance. This inviting environment ensures that your clients feel relaxed and at ease throughout their session. Urban Loft provides a comfortable, stress-free experience, allowing you to capture stunning, authentic photographs.
The Lofts FAQ
You only have full access to the studio you rented.
Yes, it is a requirement by East End Loft as well at the Rockwell building that every renter has liability/business insurance to rent the studio which you agree to in your contract.
Everything you see in the studio is yours to utilize unless there is a sign on it. Since our bedding is for aesthetic purposes only, we strongly recommend and encourage you bring your own bedding.
All studio payments are non-refundable and we ask that you please plan your business practice accordingly. We understand things come up, people get sick and emergencies happen. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate and apply your credit to be used within 30 days of your session. Rescheduling requests will not be approved if cancelled within 48 hours of your session.
If the studio needs to close due to inclement weather and unsafe travel based on our discretion, you will be credited for the amount you paid to use within 30 days of your original scheduled session. Your credit cannot be split between multiple sessions.
Although we love pets, unfortunately we do not allow pets at this time
Simply click the book now button to reserve the studios. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email reviewing studio policies and procedures. 24 hours before your session, you will receive a reminder email with directions on how to enter the studio and use the elevators. Yes, there is a cleaning cart in both studios. There is a short cleaning checklist provided in your emails which consists of swiffering the floor and disinfecting surface areas.
We provide images here on our site to give you the most accurate description of our studio spaces however, fifteen minute self tours are available. Please contact us to schedule your self tour.
Yes. We are on the 6th floor. There is a passenger elevator as soon as you walk in to the left. There is also a freight elevator for heavy equipment with detailed instructions in your booking confirmation email.
